We want you to love every element of your purchase from Marie Hunter so we provide the highest quality products to ensure your satisfaction. We follow strict international safety standards and rigorous testing set by EU (European Union) Regulations and IFRA (International Fragrance Association). Due to the personal nature of our products we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for general dissatisfaction. All items purchased from mariehunterbeauty.com are final sale.

Received a damaged/incorrect item(s)? We are happy to replace any damaged/incorrect or defective items purchased from our site. Please email us at info@mariehunterbeauty.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number, description of damage/incorrect item(s) and photos. No replacements will be granted after 7 days of delivery. Damaged/incorrect or defective item(s) must be returned using our prepaid return shipping label before replacement parcels are issued. Returns can be made by scheduling a contactless home pickup with UPS or by dropping your return off at your local shipping center. Refunds will not be issued for customer refusal to return damaged/incorrect or defective item(s).

For International orders, returns and refunds will not be issued for customs delays, holds, duty fees out of our control or unclaimed parcels.

*Orders that need to be reshipped will require a signature for delivery.

We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Afterpay, and PayPal.

The MHB HQ is located in Madison, Wisconsin.  

— Sales Tax

MarieHunterBeauty.com is required by law to collect 5.5% sales tax on orders shipped to the state of Wisconsin. 

— How much is shipping?

We ship via UPS Ground. Flat rate shipping on orders under $75 is $8.00. Orders over $99 may require a signature for delivery.

— How long does shipping take? 

Our days of operation for order processing and shipping are Monday through Friday, excluding weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and major holidays. Orders usually ship 1-3 business days after you order — this does not include order processing time. During major holidays, sales, restocks and new releases please allow up to 7 business days of delays. For U.S. shipping, allow 3­-10 business days for arrival; Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and the U.S. Virgin Islands ship via USPS Priority Mail and take 6 to 8 business days. Please note that this time frame is an estimate and not a guarantee. Any inquiries regarding the exact location of your package should be made out to UPS or USPS directly.

— How much is shipping to Canada? 

We ship via UPS Standard International or USPS Priority Mail International, shipping is $13.00. Please allow 7 to 21 business days for international parcels in case of unforeseen customs delays out of our control. We cannot be held responsible for any customs delays, additional charges and/or taxes or lost parcels. We recommend familiarizing yourself with your local import policies prior to ordering. Goods will be imported on behalf of the buyer/consignee. International VAT, tax and duties are not included in our pricing. These are the same taxes that would be included in your purchase if you were shopping locally. The buyer/consignee will pay the taxes and duties in addition to the purchase price of goods. Our pricing is listed in U.S. dollars and charged in your countries currency. Packages are marked at full value in accordance with the law. Returns and refunds will not be issued for customs delays, holds, duty fees out of our control or unclaimed parcels.

— How do I track my order?

Please allow between 24-48 hours for your tracking number to update once you receive your tracking number by email. If you don't see the email in your inbox try checking your spam folder or add info@mariehunterbeauty.com to your safe sender’s list.

— Where is my order?

Orders usually ship 1­-3 business days after you order. Once orders are fulfilled you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number. Once orders leave our HQ we are no longer responsible for them and inquiries about your order whereabouts should be made directly to UPS or USPS.

— How do I checkout using Afterpay?

To check out with Afterpay, follow these steps at checkout:

  1. In the Payment field, select Afterpay.

  2. Enter your billing address.

  3. Click Continue, and then Continue with Afterpay.

  4. Log into your Afterpay account, or create a new account, accept Afterpay’s terms, and add your payment details.

  5. Review a summary of your future payments, and confirm the transaction.

After confirming your payment, you will be redirected to our store’s Order Confirmed page.

You will receive an order confirmation email from our store, and you may receive emails from Afterpay about their payment plan, depending on your settings in Afterpay.

Placed an order for pre-order plus an in stock item? Pre-orders and in stock items will ship once the pre-ordered item(s) are available.

Our commitment is to ensure we do not use unnecessary medical experiments and product testing on animals for our cosmetics, skincare and fragrances and practice sustainability for leather goods. 

We strive to be as clean as possible but our goal is to create performance driven products that work. If a synthetic ingredient is formulated into our product, please be rest assured that we have throughly vetted the safety of the ingredient and deemed it as safe for our formulations.

— Are MH products cruelty free?

Our color cosmetic, skincare and fragrance range are cruelty free. We have thoroughly researched our suppliers to ensure you that they do not affiliate themselves or get ingredients from places that are not cruelty free! Marie Hunter Beauty is also a member of PETA's Beauty Without Bunnies Program.

The PETA cruelty-free certification is designated for companies that have signed PETA’s statement of assurance verifying that they and their suppliers do not conduct, commission, or pay for any tests on animals for their ingredients, formulations, or finished products anywhere in the world and that they pledge to not do so in the future.

— Are MH products vegan friendly?

Yes, with the exception of our Luxe Glosses, Lip Liners, select Lipsticks and Leather Goods.

The following lipsticks are NOT vegan:

Marie - Luxury Matte Lipstick

— Our products are free of:

Parabens, phtlatates, gluten, talc and sulfates.
*Please note that our Ultra Nourishing Cleansing Oil, Blooming Fruit Infused Facial Scrub, Luxury Matte Lipsticks and Waterproof Gel Lip Liners are not gluten free. Our Luxury Matte Lipsticks and Waterproof Gel Lip Liners are not sulfate free.

— Why Choose Genuine Leather When There Are Other Alternatives?

We use leather within our leather goods collections because of its longevity and quality. As always, we remain committed to upholding the best animal welfare standards and our decision to choose genuine leather requires very little water and energy to care for them as opposed to other alternatives we considered. We strive to create products that will last in craftsmanship and design for years to come. For every leather good we make, we take into consideration the quality, functionality, aesthetic and sustainability with the materials we source. We will continue to work with suppliers who support our mission to develop environmentally friendly materials, who focus on energy, water use, chemical input and have a clear supply chain.

— Where are Marie Hunter products made?

Our products are thoughtfully and expertly formulated and produced in the USA, Canada and Germany. We manufacture our products in designated laboratories/facilities that are GMP, FDA and OTC Compliant because you deserve safe, quality products.

— What makes your packaging special? 

Each design process was curated with each individual product in mind. Our matte black tube and candle packaging is 100% recyclable and/or reusable. MHB is more than a product, it's an experience. 

— Are your packing peanuts safe for the environment?

Yes, our packing peanuts are biodegradable and:

- Decompose in water leaving no toxic waste. FDA compliant.

- Static-free organic starch.

- Dispenses and vacuums like traditional peanuts.

Is your GreenWrap safe for the environment?

Our GreenWrap is eco-friendly. It is a 100% biodegradable honeycomb packing paper that will degrade in about 120 Days and the raw materials are FSC certified.

— Candle Care

- First burn should last at least 3-4 hours or until entire surface has melted to help ensure your candle burns evenly and to prevent candle tunneling.

- For an even and smoke-free burn, trim wick 1/4 inch using a wick trimmer before burning each time.

- Burn candles away from drafts, vents, fans and air currents to avoid rapid or uneven burning, smoking and sooting.

- Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets and anything flammable. Do not move candle while burning. Discontinue use of candle when 1/2" of wax remains. 

- During temperature changes, soy coconut wax will sometimes release excess oil. This is known as "sweating" and will not affect the candle. To remove excess oil, gently wipe the surface with a paper towel. 

- To reuse your candle jar, simply allow wax to completely harden and remove with warm soapy water. 

— Are your product swatches and descriptions 100% accurate? 

We strive to have our product descriptions be as accurate as possible at Marie Hunter Beauty; however, to the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant that the product descriptions, colors or other content available on our website are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.

— What makes MH different from other brands on the market?

MHB was founded and created by working Professional Makeup Artist KéNisha Ruff. Her hands on experience in the industry has given her knowledge as to what works and what doesn't when it comes to creating flawless work on and off set. Hearing client feedback has also played a major role in the creation of the MH product line. MHB believes in giving back, with that in mind, our Founder created the Be Bolder™ Program. We donate a portion of our proceeds annually to various mental health organizations. We are also a certified Earth Positive Business working to make the world a more sustainable place.

— What happens with returned products? 

Once products leave our HQ they are no longer safe to resell, therefore it goes to beauty heaven. The contents are properly disposed and sent to our local recycling facilities.

— How do I change my account information? 

If you would like to change your account information, simply click on My Account on the home page and enter your log in information and change your account information as necessary. Click 'Save' when complete.

— How do I recover my forgotten password?

If you forgot your password, simply click on 'My Account' on the home page, type your email address where indicated and click the 'Forgot Your Password' link. An email will be sent to your email address with your password.
